FAQ – Top Questions:

When do I bring my project to InterMark?

Early early early! If you’re a writer and have a finished script, we’ll read it and make recommendations on how to make it appealing to the right audiences. For example, if you’re writing for teen girls, we’ll make recs on appealing to that demographic. We’ll also make recommendations on title names.

If you’re a filmmaker, we work with you early on to set the strategy and a timeline (playbook) of the marketing and distribution campaign.

Do you work with indie filmmakers? Is any project too small?

We have a soft spot for independent content creators (Film/TV/Digital) because they are the bread and butter of the Entertainment industry. We also work on tent-pole films for the major studios too.

Who typically hires you?

(Producers, Filmmakers, Creative Agencies, Writers…oh my!) We have producers ask us to oversee the Marketing strategy for their projects. Other times, distributors bring us in to get into the nitty-gritty of implementing a campaign. Sometimes we have creative agencies ask to develop pitch and strategy decks.

Do you work with Sales Agencies!

Yes! We write sales sheets to ensure your projects get bought by international distributors. Keep in mind that how you market to distributors will be different from general audiences. (B2B vs. B2C).

Do you work on foreign language (local-language) projects?

Our world is small. A huge chunk of our experience is marketing to international audiences. From Mexico to China to Germany. Pick a country or language, and we’ve most likely either have been there or marketed to audiences there.

What else do you do?

The entertainment industry is our biggest industry sector. But we also help fashion designers, non-profits, creative agencies, and brands with their marketing.
